Community Services

Our Community Outreach programs focus on health education and prevention, reaching outside the hospital walls into our neighborhoods. This is accomplished by nurses and health educators who provide free classes, clinics, health counseling, screenings, and seasonal flu vaccinations.

Our Huntington Hospital Senior Care Network is a nationally recognized, community-based program that provides resources to keep seniors safe and healthy in their homes.  Care coordination and monthly lecture programs are some of the program’s many highlights. 

The Huntington Collection is a resale shop located adjacent to the hospital.  Items like home furniture, china, silver and glassware as well as beautiful vintage clothing make it easy to shop and support Huntington Hospital.  Be sure to stop by, as all proceeds benefit Senior Care Network. 

Huntington Hospital provides millions of dollars of qualified community benefits annually, including medical services and charity care to the underserved, health research, education and training programs.  The Huntington Community Health Library offers educational articles, books, pamphlets and videos on a variety of medical topics that is sure to be of interest to you and your family. Computers are available to view a plethora of medical DVDs, or to further research your topic.
